#14659 - Smaller Pigskin CW War Era Holster This is a smaller-sized pigskin holster from the CW era for a revolver with a maximum barrel length of 5", such as an Adams Colt or Manhattan. It has it's closure flap and brass tab. The flap is assembled of two layers of stitched pigskin. However, as seen in photos there is a split of the outer layer of leather at top. Underside layer intact as shown opened. The end leather plug present. Rear belt strap held by brass grommet to back. About 8 3/4" long, 3 1/2" wide. With a little repair, this could be mounted with a small pistol on a mannequin's belt. Holsters are not common from this era.
