#14681 - Large Iron Axe head found 1956 Fort Reynolds VA This is a heavy iron axe head which was recovered from Fort Reynolds, Virginia area in November 1956. Chip from blade edge caused it to be discarded. Likely for chopping thick wood, but rearside is banged flat by using like a mallet too. No markings. About 7 " long. Heavy to ship!
