It was for the proud wives, sisters and daughters of male Vets in the GAR. F.C.L. is the WRC motto: Fraternity, Charity and Loyalty. Color: Gold with red, white and blue enamel. This is marked JKD on the back. JKD is the manufacturer: Joseph K. Davison, Philadelphia; this company made quite a few GAR-related pins, badges, medals, etc. in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. This is a 10 K gold & enamel lapel and pin for a WRC lady.
