#14917 - Union Second Lieutenant shoulder rank board This is an original Civil War era Union Second Lieutenant's rank shoulder board for the most numerous of junior officers. The darker blue cloth "field" indicates the Infantry. The size and construction is definitely indicative of the Civil War era. There is a tiny single moth nip on the field. The brass jaceron gilded wire is slightly toned. This comes in a free Riker case for safe & easy future display. About 3 7/8" by 1 3/8".
