#15021 - Vintage Brown Glass Eye to replace lost one
When you lost an eye in the 1800s, a precisely matched prosthetic glass eye could be handmade by a meticulous glass blower. The iris on this one is medium brown. Note the very fine red arteries added into the white of the eye. This would be held along edges under the lids, sitting atop a ball which fills the empty socket. These came in various sizes and color tones. See the sample case photo as an example. Selling one brown eye only here. Certainly the right era for CW veterans with a blown out eyeball! Cool & yet creepy!
