#15027 - Vintage Hazel Brown Glass Eye replacement
When you lost an eye in the 1800s, a precisely matched prosthetic glass eye could be handmade by a meticulous glass blower. The iris on this one is hazel-brown. Note the very fine red arteries added into the white of the eye. This would be held along edges under the lids, sitting atop a ball which fills the empty socket. These came in various sizes and color tones. See the sample case photo as an example. Selling one hazel-brown eye only here. Certainly the right era for CW veterans with a blown out eyeball! Cool & yet creepy!
