#15224 - Nearly Wiped Out Warrior on big rusted tintype This is an original larger 1/4-plate tintype of an amiable Union private seated at a studio table. No ID yet known. The tintype has some speckling loss of background emulsion, kinda like a rubbed out or sandblasted effect. There is a little loss on his hair. But overall, his face and body are preserved. There are original quarter plate brass mats and glass, but no case. A cool relic of the American Civil War era. 4 1/8" by 3 1/8".
