#15533 - Rare soldering Iron tip recovered White Oak Swamp
This is a heavy copper soldering iron tip recovered at site of White Oak Battlefield area in 1967 by John Embrey. It has great patina and lots of character markings from use. Soldering items was important during Civil War when on the move between battles. An unusual item from the June 1862 conflict. About 4 1/4" long. Comes with tags.
