#15933 - Bullet pounded to a musket nipple protector This is a lead bullet that was pounded to act as a musket nipple protector. Often ingeniously made by Confederate to keep mud & rain out of nipple spark hole. Nice lower shape of nipple and upper shape of musket hammer. Virginia.
