#15963 - Modified Utensil for Feeding Veteran Amputees
This is a modified eating utensil commonly used in hospitals and post-War homes to feed amputees from a tin plate. There was a curve for cutting food with fork tines on the end. The shape is conducive to sweeping food from a plate surface. This one has deer stag handles, interestingly from different tone antlers. A solid, super piece! About 7 3/4". No markings.
