#15995 - Bronze ornate crucifix with loop from Virginia camp This is an ornate bronze crucifix from a sutler's stash in a CW camp. It was occupied by a regiment of New Yorkers largely composed of Eastern European lineage. This, the Orthodox Church "look" to the design. It still has its integral top carry loop for a chain. No markings. About 1 3/4" tall. Green-Gray patina.
