#16061 - Crossed Cannon Kepi Insignia 25 th Regiment
This is an original Civil War period brass die-stamped crossed-cannon insignia for the kepi of the Union artilleryman. It has the numbers "2" and "5" soldered onto the top edge in order to denote the 25-th Regiment. The four attachment loops still present on the rear. Has a deep copper-brown patina. This does not look dug, but the 2 was reinforced with solder at some point in its journey. It comes in a free Riker case for safe and easy future display.
