#16105 - Mid Nineteenth Century Tin political Parade Torch This is an original tin Civil War era "parade torch" for political and patriotic event gatherings at night. It would be filled with kerosene and lit like any lamp. Carried on a pole over the crowd, usually as they marched through streets or stood for speeches. Working & intact. Can 3" high by 3 1/2 across.
