#16309 - Attractive Eagle Breast Plate from Chancellorsville This is a nicely detailed Union eagle breast plate dug in Chancellorsville. Private land with permission. A very nice green patina gives it an artifact look. There is curling on two edges. But that seems to verify that it was in a major CW battle. No iron loops on back, but lead fill present. Nicely presented in a Riker case.
