#16337 - Forty Second Regiment Hat Wreath This is a brass hat wreath insignia for the "42" reg8ment. The "42" is in stippled silver on a center bar. Attachment wires still present. Brightly gilted wreath. About 2 1/2" across. Likely was worn on GAR slouch hat for reunions.
