#16412 - Sixth Plate Ambrotype Union Lad with kepi & Tabs This is a very nice Sixth plate Ruby Glass ambrotype of a naīve-looking Union private. He is seated holding his kepi on his lap. His buttons are highlighted in gold. His shell jacket has shoulder tabs and a breast pocket suggestive of a New York regiment. No ID yet known. It comes under brass mats in a full leatherette case. Nice contrast & clarity.
