#16488 - Tintype of Union private Tim Hall cased
This is an original Sixth-plate Tintype of a seated Union Private in his frock coat with gold accented buttons. His kepi propped forward on his knees has insignias that cannot be read. The paper in case has Mr. Tim Hall and a Miss Emma Larvage written in pen. There were 5 Timothy Halls in Union army, so it would require some concentrated research to narrow this soldier down exactly. Images comes in a full leatherette case. Clarity is great. Tin has some very soft creases with sturdy emulsion on plate.
