#16553 - Early Eagle A coat button Treble Gilt Standard This is a nice "minty" Eagle A artillery coat button with an eagle design style and back mark from the pre- Civil War era. Likely Mexican War to 1850s. It has nice gilt, good shank and is about 18 millimeters. Nice addition for serious button collector of the Early 1800s federal buttons.
