#16738 - Union marked Watervilet Arsenal Cannon Vent Pick This is an original iron vent pick for cleaning the rear spark vent hole of a cannon. It also could puncture the cloth bag of powder which had been rammed to the rear of the tube. Corkscrewed tip. It is marked by the Union "Watervilet" arsenal with number designations for the type cannon. A darker plum color. About 18" long.
