#17250 - Ninth cased Ambrotype William Young 44/ 8 th Ohio This is a ninth plate glass Ambrotype of Union private identified in rear of case as William H. Young. Taken in 1862 in BelleFountain, OH. He served in both the 44 th Ohio Reg. and 8 th Ohio Regt. Comes in a hard gutta percha case. Slightly dark. Though case notation says there is a swatch of his hair inside, there is not.
