#17751 - Three Blqade Brass and Steel Bloodletter This is a CW era three-bladed fleam for the "letting" of blood. The physician would make tiny superficial slice into sick person's skin (usually firearm) to drain the "bad blood" from the body. A bit archaic but still being done during Civil War before they understood about existence of bacteria.This has a brass body and 3 tarnished steel blades. No markings.
