#14446 - CDV of Union Private with Yukon Beaver kepi This is a CDV of a seated Union private with an Elmira New York backmark. It must be cold there because he has va home knitted scarf and a beaver-fur Yukon type kepi. A very uncommon custom type uniform flare! He also wears a small Corps Badge shield on his frock. No ID yet known. But he wrote in pencil "Fred's compliment's to Aunt Hester."
