#14904 - Union Officer muttonchops fights in 8 th Infantry This is a focused-looking Union officer whose hat bears an 9infantry horn insignia of the Infantry, with an 8 in the coil. Not sure which state's 8th Infantry Regiment he served. No ID yet known. But the day may be coming with new computer facial recognition services offered on CW photos soon! The albumin is glued to a thin cardboard backer without any backmarking. Albumin has some soft wrinkles but no tears. Note: The crease on rear of backer card does not affect photo paper on front.. Nice clarity.
