#15070 - Brass Musical Instrument Parts CSA Camp dug 1971
This is a cool group of 5 brass parts of a brass horn which was dug in May 1971 at a Confederate Camp in Caroline County, Virginia. There are three tubes which are gnarled a bit. One cylinder for compression a note with finger pad. And some kind of connector piece, Since we have part of a valve, it was not a simple bugle. Likely was some variant of a saxhorn. An unusual older find! F
