#15330 - Sixth Plate Ambrotype Gentleman and Pretty Wife This is an original six-th plate glass Ambrotype of a well-dressed gentleman and his pretty young wife holding hands. Touching gesture for a severe era. Likely 1850s with more of a Captain Ahab look than the 1860s. Has some lines and abrasions to edges of emulsion. Faces unaffected by anything major. Comes with original fancy brass mats in a half of a leatherette case. Sadly, no ID known.
