#15480 - Ambrotype of spooky Captain Ahab type This is an original sixth-plate glass ambrotype image of a spooky bearded man with an other-worldly look. Reminds me of Gregory Peck as Captain Ahab! There are scratches on emulsion that only serve to make it more creepy. No ID known. From New England. Comes in original glass, brass mats and a half of a leatherette case.
