#15792 - Flip Top Traveling Inkwell This is an original Nineteenth Century "flip top" inkwell for people traveling. The snap top lid seals the top of the inner ink bottle so that there is no spillage in a valise of suitcase/trunk. It is covered by brown leather which is flaked away in small places, revealing solid brass box body. There is a push button under front leather to open lid. Bottle is intact. No markings. About 1 3/4" square.
