#16153 - Old Slim Jim holster from the Califormia Gold Rush Here's an interesting old relic; untouched, as found: a California "Slim Jim" holster that was hanging up in a barn for years. Not sure what revolver it originally carried, but I pictured it with a tape measure to give you an idea of size. As you can see, it had a small flap added during the original period of use. Has a leather loop through the hammer hole to further support it. Leather smooth and not flaking. The buckle & stitching look very much like those of the Civil War era. I think we can place this in the 1850 to 1890 era. Maybe you know more??? A cool relic for your displays!
