#17589 - Tintype Union private with porkpie hat This is a standing view tintype of a young Union private in his shell jacket and holding a porkpie hat. He stands at an odd tree trunk and fence railing backdrop. Considering how many attacks got stalled at wooden fences, maybe this isn't so odd. No ID yet known. This is a CDV-sized tin with minor bends. No flaking.
